PHILIPPE BANEL

An experienced aromatherapist, Philippe Banel is trained in French scientific aromatherapy as well as Anglo-Saxon approaches.
Passionate about the health of artists (singers, actors, dancers), he supports them in their artistic and personal daily lives.
Today, he shares his knowledge through teaching, thematic conferences, and writing specialized books in the field of aromatherapy.

As a co-founder of Natur’Alchemia, he contributes to promoting rigorous and accessible aromatherapy.

 

ANNIE PRINCE

Annie Prince is a Clinical Aromatherapist, Author and Educator trained in France in aromatic medicine.
She developed and taught the Diploma in Aromatherapy for two years at Wellpark College, Auckland.
In a world dominated by technology and fractured by a sense of disconnection from oneself, others and nature, she is passionate about the importance of reclaiming conversation in the therapeutic encounter in a safe, sacred space.
Her book ” The Personalised Consultation in Aromatherapy” was published in March 2024 by Singing Dragon.

A dedicated nature lover, Annie lives on thirteen beautiful acres of rolling countryside north of Auckland with extended family and is the privileged custodian of five acres of protected bush with ancient kauri trees. She currently manages her own clinic , treating clients, making bespoke products and running classes for small groups as well as indulging her passion for gardening, growing her own herbs and concocting all manner of products be they medicinal or culinary. She is an advocate for integrative healthcare utilising the best of allopathics and plant medicine. Her particular interest is the body/mind connection and working holistically to relieve mental/ emotional stress. 

Julia williams

Julia says
“I work as a private practitioner working closely with local cancer support groups, Parkinsons Society and with clients struggling with lymphatic disorders. My complementary therapy career started in 1990, when I trained as a massage therapist swiftly followed by several years training in clinical aromatherapy and reflexology, also lymphatic massage.
In depth aromatherapy training allowed me to work for HIV/AIDS charities , the homeless and addiction.
At University College Hospital London Haematology I was the first professional therapist offering a range of treatments including yoga to patients and workshops for medical staff. 
As part of the complementary therapy team at Trinity Hospice, I worked in all areas of care, also offering yoga and movement classes to outpatients also presentations on the benefits of yoga and movement in the palliative care setting, Breast Cancer Haven and training in Medical Lymphatic Drainage and scar work followed.
In 2011 following my move to SW of England I, together with a colleague developed Tripudio Movement Systems offering instructor training for therapists, MLD practitioners, nurses and carers.
Tripudio Movement Systems offers movement derived from yoga, dance, Chi Qong and more. Seated and standing movement with music focusing on the lymphatic and fascia systems and accessible to all. Training takes place here in Bridport, Dorset and also on-line, with part training as video and zoom.”

 

dr Wendy Maddocks

Wendy first trained in aromatherapy in 1991 in England with Eve Taylor, initially as an adjunct to her intensive care nuring. 

She set up and taught Aromatherapy and other complementary therapies from 1993 until 2008. In that time Wendy completed further studies in herbal medicine, massage therapy and gained three degrees. 

In 2008 Wendy graduated with a Doctorate Heath Science, and was the first person in NZ to research the clinical application of aromatherapy with in an acute hospital setting. Since then Wendy has run a clinical practice, set up a natural skincare company and continued working in various areas of nursing and health education. 

Wendy now works as a senior academic at the University of Canterbury, supporting students completing post graduate study in health care and being involved in several research studies related to aromatherapy.
Wendy is a founding Fellow on the ICAN platform (International Clinical Aromatherapy Network) and an international judge for the Gattefossé Foundation’s Excellence in Aromatherapy Research Awards.
Wendy has presented at several conferences and published widely in Aromatherapy. Privately, she runs a business involved in natural product consultancy and product development.

 

Dr SALLY MOORCROFT

Dr. Sally Moorcroft brings over two decades of experience in Integrative and Functional Medicine, with a particular focus on Herbal Medicine and Women’s Health.
Awarded “Integrative & Functional Medicine Doctor of the Year” in 2024, she is Clinical Director and Co-founder of the Northern Centre of Integrative and Functional Medicine (NCIFM), Lincolnshire, UK.

Additionally, she is co-founder of a range of organic and herbal products, Dr. Sally’s Botanicals, and is a core tutor and lecturer at The National Centre of Integrative Medicine in Bristol on the Master’s Level Diploma in Integrative Healthcare.

Her resume includes a blend of functional medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, and bio-identical hormone therapy. With a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine, and five years of postgraduate training in medical homeopathy, additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), medical acupuncture and aromatherapy.
She trained in Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy at the Marion Gluck Clinic, London and is currently completing her IFM certification, having finished all core and advanced training.

She is GMC Registered with membership of the Institute of Functional Medicine, College of Phytotherapy, College of Medicine, British Menopause Society and Faculty of Homeopathy.
She has featured in Woman and Home, Natural Health, Health and Wellbeing, Channel 4 and many online national magazines, blogs and podcasts.
She lectures nationally on women’s health and integrative medicine and delivers practitioner online learning webinars and professional 1-1 and group mentoring programmes.
Her award-winning range of organic herbal teas, tonics, and aromatherapy blends are based on formulations used within the clinic and use ethically grown, organic, fairly traded professional grade ingredients and environmentally responsible packaging. They are available online and in Dr Sally’s Botanicals apothecary and satellite clinic in Holt, Norfolk.
